Diamond Core

Diamond coring utilizes a core bit with artificial diamonds set into a crown matrix of differing hardness’s and drilling fluid as a medium to cut a core sample. The core sample is then retrieved via a wireline system. The differing matrix hardness is required for different rock types. Core sample is the best representative sample available for geologists to study.
